How do we obtain eternal life?
The Bible says in John 3:16 if we obey the teachings of Yeshua, our Savior, which includes believing in His death on the cross, we will have eternal life.
Is eternal life forever, or do you believe eternal life will at one point end? If eternal life is not forever, then it would no longer be eternal life. For it to be eternal life, it can never end; it has to last forever.
The Greek word used to describe eternal life in John 3:16 is a direct translation of the Hebraic word used to describe circumcision as an everlasting covenant and the Mosaic covenant as an everlasting covenant.
It is impossible to change this, even if we wanted to. The Bible says circumcision is an everlasting sign and the Mosaic covenant is everlasting as long as heaven and the earth exist (Matt 5)
How do we obtain eternal life?
We obtain eternal life if we believe in Yeshua’s teachings. What did Yeshua teach us to do? Matthew 23, He taught us to obey Moses’ written law, which requires us to be circumcised (if we can afford it and our health allows us to have surgery.)
